One of the state of the art developments in manufacturing engineering is the finite element (FE) simulation of Super Plastic Forming (SPF) processes. Despite the availability of the material models (and their constants) for Ti 6AL-4V Titanium, these material models (and their constants) are not already available in most of commercial FE codes. Johnson-Cook (JC) constitutive model is simple and uses few variables that are already available in most of commercial FE codes. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to identify JC material model parameters for Ti 6AL-4V covering wide ranges of strain, strain rate and temperature typically observed in SPF.
