Ti2AlNb orthorhombic alloys exhibit great potential as advanced aerospace and elevated temperature structural materials. Their high specific strength, improved oxidation resistance, good creep resistance and high temperature strength make them a very attractive material for high temperature applications. This paper deals with the superplastic behavior of orthorhombic Ti2AlNb alloy (Ti-22Al-25Nb). In the paper, Ti-22Al-25Nb alloy underwent uniaxial superplastic tension test. Maximum elongation of 600% has been obtained at strain rate of 1.0×10-5s-1 under 940 ℃. And results showed that the grain size of Ti-22Al-25Nb alloy was uniform and steady after deformation. And microstructural features of Ti-22Al-25Nb alloy after superplastic deformation were analyzed and discussed in detail.
