- The success story of the Rolls Royce DB/SPF Wide Chord Fan Blades, given by Mike Wallis, Chief of Manufacturing Engineering, Roll-Royce
- Thoughts on superplasticity in general and on its role in Earth deformation given by Prof John Wheeler, Dept Geology and Geophysics, School of Environmental Sciences, University of Liverpool
- Development of High-Strain-Rate Superplastic Oxide Ceramics based on Flow Mechanism, given by Dr Koji Morita, National Institute for Materials Science, Advanced Ceramics Group, Tsukuba Ibaraki, Japan

Amongst the poster presented during the conference, the ICSAM Board in cooperation with Airbus will select and attribute the "Best Poster Award". The winner will be announced during the Gala Dinner, july 4th.

The 6th of july in the morning, in parallel to the A380 Assembly Line visit, their will be an opportunity for a limited number of attendees (20) to have an "on floor" visit of the "St Eloi Pylon Structures"  production plant in Toulouse where the Airbus SPF production facilities are located.

Final paper submission is open till end off march. All authors are requested to deposit their paper online on Trans Tech Website, using the login and password that they have recieved.

Registration is now open. All authors and participant are requested to register themselves and accompaniing personns. Please take care to fullfill some informations related to bus shuttles from airport to Albi, bus shuttles during conference days and participation to visits the 6th of July. Please be aware that for some visits the number of participants is limited.


In order to promote numerous attendance of young researchers special registration rates are proposed (see registration) as well as a low cost lodging opportunities in the student houses on the campus of Ecole des Mines (only 100€ from monday to saturday including 5 nights and 4 breackfests). This opportunity is restricted to PhD students, Post Docs and Young researchers.
